About the Event

What is Alchemy 2026?

Alchemy is the flagship annual event of KUCONC — a one-day celebration that brings together students, industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers onto a single platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.

The 2026 edition focuses on Industrial Decarbonization & Energy Transition, covering green hydrogen, carbon capture technologies, and scalable industrial solutions for Nepal's future. The centrepiece is a panel discussion: "Pathways to Industrial Decarbonization — Challenges & Opportunities in Nepal & Beyond."

Alongside the technical programme, ALCHEMY also publishes the annual magazine QUIMICO — featuring student projects, technical articles, and research on Chemical Engineering, distributed internationally to KU's partner institutions.
